Opuntia are mostly delivered as unrooted cuttings. However it is very easy to get roots on the plants, just
put them in a pot with sand/gravel/soil and keep slightly moist. In 1-2 weeks they will produce the first
small roots. After that most species/forms will grow fast and produce new offsets.
Most Opuntia we offer are very cold hardy. They can be planted in a rock garden even here in Sweden, but
I would recommend some kind of cover during winter, like a roof for the rain so they are not standing too wet.
