Lobivia haematantha v. amblayensis JL 310 A small, with age cylindrical species with large flowers, from yellow to orange-red. Easy from seed. Like a cool winter rest. |

Sulcorebutia mentosa A very variable species from Bolivia with spines from darkest black to red and yellow (flavissima). Easy to grow from seed. Will flower in 2-3 years with magenta petals. |

Parodia malayana WR 156 Tiny body with short soft spines in white and brown. Flowers appear on very small plants. Can be a bit tricky from seed, but only the two first years when the seedlings are small. |

Rebutia pygmaea v. orurensis Free flowering as all the 'pygmaeas'. Like a cold winter rest and absolutely no water. Flower like mad in the spring! |

Rebutia heliosa v. solisioides RH 261 R. heliosa is a fantastic variable species from southern Bolivia. Here is one of the forms. They can form nice clusters with age, filling a 10 cm pot in a few years. |
